The ICC ,International Cricket Council is global governing body of cricket having representing 104 members in it

The ICC governs and represents it's work with their members to grow the sport cricket. Also the ICC is responsible for all ICC cricket events in the world. ICC appoints all international matches to the teams also their series with each others

ICC Vision
The ICC has a long term vision for cricket sport to become world's favourite sport and their four year strategy that will lead them to take through to 2019 is the first step on that journey , during that period the International Cricket Council will lead the continued drive towards more competitive this year with entertaining and meaningful cricket for cricket players and their fans. They are growing more opportunities for more people and nations to enjoy the cricket sport and increase it's competitiveness of international cricket at all levels, they are promoting it through exciting global events and it can be seen that day by day more public is getting interest in it

ICC members(104 members total)
ICC gives two type of memberships, first is full membership and other one is associate membership. The ICC majorly organize three types of cricket format matches, T20I, ODI and Test cricket and for achieving all these three cricket formats, the teams must qualify some tournaments, so the full membership only goes to those teams which plays all these three cricket formats and associate membership only those teams contain which don't play these three cricket formats. Early cricket (Pre 1799):
There is more chance as more opinions are that cricket may have been invented during Saxon or Norman times by the children which living in the Weald , an area of the dense woodlands in South East England. The first time cricket played as an adult sport on 1611, and the same year a dictionary defined the cricket game as boys' sport game, there is also thoughts that the cricket may have derived by bowls and a batsman trying to stop the ball from reaching it's target and hitting it away. Cricket On The Artillery Ground
Village cricket was develop in middle of the 17th century and in the first half of the 18th century the cricket established as the leading sport in London , England. Cricket was introduced to North America via English colonies in early of the 17th century and in 18th century it introduced in other parts of the world , it was introduced to West Indies by the colonists and in India by British East India Company mariners. It arrived in Australia in ending of the 17th century and the cricket sport reached to the New Zealand and South Africa in early of the 19th century

ICC events:
ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP: The ICC cricket world cup is most famous and exciting event of ICC in which top ranked teams clash with each other to take the glory and crown themselves as champions for four years, ICC cricket world cup always comes after four years of gap as in that gap interval some other events are held by ICC, recently ICC held it's world cup event in 2019 in England & Wales before 1990 it was a 60 overs match but after it reduced to 50 overs match.

ICC Champions Trophy: Recently The ICC champions Trophy was held in year 2017 in England in which only top 8 teams clash with each other to become the Champions , this tournament is most liked one by the people around globe and it is also a 50 overs game.

ICC T20I World Cup: ICC also organize the T20I world cup which comes after four years gap mostly , in this tournament the match overs are reduced to 20 overs which makes the game more energetic and entertaining game format, players show their masterclass hits and the teams try their best to achieve the final spot to become dominant T20 side in the globe.
